1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BillSnap ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of service

BillSnap provides two categories of service:

• Free tools: invoice generator, PDF-to-Excel converter, invoice templates, and multi-currency invoice calculator. These run entirely in your browser at no cost.
• Done-for-you processing: a paid service where you forward invoices to us and we return extracted, human-verified data in spreadsheet or accounting-software-ready format.

3. Free tools — acceptable use

The free tools on BillSnap are for legitimate business and personal use only. By using them, you agree that you will:

• Use the invoice generator only for real, lawful transactions you are party to
• Not use generated invoices to misrepresent transactions, evade taxes, fraudulently obtain payment, or deceive any party
• Not use the PDF converter to alter or misrepresent existing financial documents
• Not systematically scrape, download, or redistribute tool outputs for commercial purposes

4. Done-for-you processing service terms

When you use our paid invoice processing service:

• You submit genuine invoices related to your business or personal financial management
• You authorize BillSnap to extract, process, and return data from those invoices
• You understand that automated extraction may occasionally require manual correction; our human-verified process is designed to catch and fix errors, but we recommend reviewing delivered data before filing or entering it into your accounting software
• The accuracy guarantee applies to the data we deliver, not to decisions you make based on that data
• Retention of submitted invoices is governed by the service agreement established at onboarding

5. No professional advice

Tools and data provided by BillSnap are informational and operational — they do not constitute accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions about your specific tax situation, business structure, or financial obligations.

6. Accuracy

Our calculators and extraction processes are built from official reference sources (such as CRA guidance and published rates). We update them when underlying figures change. However, no automated system is error-free. For the paid processing service, human review addresses flagged fields; for free tools, results depend on the inputs you provide.

If you identify an error in any BillSnap output, report it.

7. Privacy

The free tools run entirely in your browser. We do not receive, store, or process any invoice data, business details, or client information you enter into the free tools. Your data stays on your device.

For the paid processing service, submitted invoices are handled according to the service-level privacy commitments in our service agreement. We never sell invoice contents or derived data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Advertising

The free tools on this Site are supported by advertising through Google AdSense and potentially other partners. Advertisers may use cookies to serve ads. You can manage your choice at any time through our cookie banner, or opt out via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Advertising on the Site does not constitute endorsement of any advertiser's product or service. BillSnap is not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

9. Intellectual property

All original content on BillSnap — editorial text, tool designs, templates, layouts, and branding — is the property of BillSnap and may not be reproduced without permission.

Invoices you generate and download using our free tools are yours. We claim no ownership over documents you create with our tools.

10. Limitation of liability

The Site and its tools are provided "as is." BillSnap disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

BillSnap shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our free tools or paid service, including but not limited to financial losses, tax penalties, late-payment fees, or consequential damages — except where required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance.
